Brian Rochefort is a Los Angeles–based contemporary ceramic artist known for his vividly glazed sculptural vessels and forms that reference volcanic landscapes, coral reefs, minerals, and geological processes. His work combines experimental glaze chemistry with heavily textured hand-built surfaces, resulting in intensely organic objects that blur the line between ceramic vessel and abstract sculpture. Rochefort’s work has been exhibited internationally and is included in prominent private and public collections, with pieces shown through leading contemporary galleries and major art fairs. He is currently represented by Sean Kelly Gallery.
