In Event Horizon, David Huffman layers vivid orange lines over a dark blue field, creating a network of loops and intersections. The composition opens into a looser mix of sprayed color, scattered marks, and glitter.
Huffman’s work is held in the collections of SFMOMA, LACMA, and The Studio Museum in Harlem. He was also the subject of a solo exhibition at San Francisco’s Museum of the African Diaspora in 2022, and SFMOMA commissioned his installation Portals in 2024.
Condition: Excellent. Very minimal signs of age or handling.
