Evan Trine — Archival Pigment Print
Evan Trine’s Ace of Base is a unique archival pigment print measuring 44 × 44 inches. A vivid field of coral red gives the work a bold, quietly commanding presence. Trine’s practice explores the relationship between photography and abstraction, using digital processes to transform familiar imagery into unexpected compositions.
His exhibition history includes Trending (2016) and New Photographic Portraits (2017) at Roberts & Tilton, and Niña, Pinta, Santa Maria (2020) at Roberts Projects. His work has also appeared in Color Fields at the Long Beach Museum of Art and SUPERBLOOM at The Pit, Palm Springs (both 2024). He most recently had a solo exhibition "Spotlight - Evan Tine: Ketchup & Mustard," at Vielmetter Los Angeles in Los Angeles, CA.
He lives and works in Long Beach, CA.
