Taylor White’s Two Stacks for Nintendo (2021) pairs two uneven towers of vivid red forms against a richly worked blue ground. Loose black outlines and flashes of orange give the composition a playful, graphic rhythm, while visible brushwork and irregular edges lend it a tactile, handmade quality. Combining acrylic, lacquer, gouache, paper, and sewing on canvas, this unique work balances bold color with an intimate scale.
