In this large-scale 2024 painting by Justin Williams, two figures in vivid yellow raincoats occupy a red-orange boat beneath a dark, moonlit sky. Pale, looping forms drift overhead, lending the maritime scene a dreamlike quality. Deep blues and greens frame the warmth of the vessel, while scattered marks, drips, and layered color give the surface a richly worked texture.

At over six feet tall, the work has an enveloping presence, inviting a closer look at its details and unfolding narrative.
